Darbuna: Hidden Stories
Through collaboration with exclusively female journalists, MiCT is working to unearth the stories of women and children living with perceived affiliation to daesh and leverage the stories to better publicize available political solutions and address enduring social stigma.
Through collaboration with exclusively female journalists, MiCT is working to unearth the stories of women and children living with perceived affiliation to daesh and leverage the stories to better publicize available political solutions and address enduring social stigma. The transformation of journalistic output into fictionalized radio and video formats further opens dialogue while simultaneously protecting the identity of the affected and coalescing impacting stories into a single narrative. In order to alter the prospects for hundreds of thousands of Iraqis with perceived affiliation, public discourse surrounding IDPs and reintegration needs to focus on circumstances, solutions, and peace. This project is funded by German Cooperation and SLIM funding Facility.
