MICT has also produced Checkpoints, a print magazine of material produced by both developing and professional journalists from Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. A bi-lingual, digital magazine, it offers features, exclusive interviews with regional experts, insightful opinion pieces and fosters commonalities between the various nations, post-revolution.

Content highlights literal and figurative checkpoints: Where are Tunisia, Libya and Egypt now? Where are they politically and socially? And where do they want to go? The 148-page magazine was printed in both in Arabic and English, with the two languages meeting in the centrefold.

Checkpoints magazine won silver in the Newcomer of the Year category at the 2013 Lead Awards, Germany’s annual awards for publishing.
